Jonathan Betz is an Emmy-award winning television journalist based in Beijing, China, whose reports have appeared on ABC, CBS, CNN, CGTN and Al Jazeera, among others.

His work has taken him all over the world to cover some of this decade's biggest stories from Tahrir Square in Egypt... to struggling towns in Puerto Rico... to schools in Tibet.

 

Recently, he's covered some of China's biggest issues, ranging from the COVID-19 pandemic to the trade war.

Jonathan's been honored with two regional Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow, and multiple Associated Press awards.
